Calculator and kit privacy

The free calculator runs its calculations in your browser. Its code does not send amounts, hours, or results to a server, does not ask for a name or email, and does not install advertising pixels.

Visit and performance measurement

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to learn about visits, pages viewed, and website performance. Our code does not send calculator field values, costs, or results to that tool. This measurement helps us understand which content is viewed and improve the site. Information about Cloudflare Web Analytics.

Technical data from your visit

To serve this website, the hosting receives your browser's request and may process technical data, such as IP address and access logs. This notice describes the application; the hosting is also subject to its provider's policies.

Saving in the downloadable kit

The kit's HTML quote builder lets you save projects in the browser's local storage and download JSON copies. It is not a cloud copy: it can be lost if you clear your browser data or switch computers. The Excel file and the exported copies stay wherever you choose to save them. The tools do not sync their data with each other.

JSON copies may include client data and internal costs. Keep those copies for your own use; share with your clients the quote prepared for them.

The newsletter is optional and separate from the calculator and the purchase. Only submit your email if you want to receive quoting tips, updates, and offers from MargenClaro; the form requires you to check a consent box. Emails may include content in Spanish and English.

When you subscribe, your email address is sent directly to Lemon Squeezy, which manages the list and the mailings. The provider may record the signup date, technical data from the request, and email activity, such as opens and clicks. We use that information to manage subscriptions and evaluate the messages. Your calculator figures are not included in this subscription.

Each email includes an individual unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops future marketing emails; the provider may keep a suppression record to honor it. To access, correct, or request deletion of your data, write to hola@margenclaro.com. The person responsible for MargenClaro is Jason Lopez Soto, in Costa Rica. Support email

If you write to hola@margenclaro.com, we receive your address, the message, and any data you choose to include so we can handle the inquiry. Cloudflare Email Routing forwards the email to the support mailbox managed in Gmail. Do not send passwords or full card details. To access or request deletion of the data in your message, write to that same address.

Store and orders

Lemon Squeezy handles checkout and delivery of the kit. The purchase asks for the data needed for the order and payment on its own site. MargenClaro can view the order data needed to handle inquiries. This calculator does not collect card details.

Lemon Squeezy's processing of your order is described in its privacy policy. For a question about your order data, reply to the purchase receipt: its reply-to address goes to the MargenClaro contact. Do not include passwords or full card details.
