Terms of use and kit terms
MargenClaro is a digital tools project for preparing quotes, operated by Jason Lopez Soto from Costa Rica. The calculator is free. The professional kit is purchased through Lemon Squeezy.
Free calculator
You can use it to prepare personal or business quotes. Results depend on your inputs: hours, cost of time, expenses, reserve, fees, and margin. It assumes a single currency and a single payment. It does not convert currencies or determine taxes, invoicing obligations, or professional requirements.
The examples do not guarantee sales, quote acceptance, or profitability. Check your inputs, results, and terms before sending a proposal. The tool does not provide tax, legal, or accounting advice.
Professional kit: contents and price
The kit is a one-time purchase of US$19 before taxes, with no subscription. Payment is processed in USD. Taxes, payment methods, and purchase availability by country will be shown at checkout before you confirm the order.
The ZIP includes an XLSX workbook with a quote builder, three scenarios, and tracking for 30 projects; an HTML quote builder that works offline; instructions, a quoting guide, and the license. The quote builder, the 18 examples, the HTML guide, and the instructions are in Spanish, English, French, and Brazilian Portuguese. The license is in Spanish and English. Your own text is not translated automatically. The Excel workbook is in Spanish. The quote builder includes 18 examples, three adjustable scenarios, local saving of up to 100 quotes, JSON import and export, and a proposal you can print or save as a PDF from the browser without showing internal costs. v3 adds a quote reference, an optional deposit and balance breakdown, and an internal extra-hours simulator. The deposit is calculated on the total including the taxes you enter; it does not collect payments. The simulation does not modify or save the proposal. You can import JSON copies from v1, v2, and v3; keep your originals. The tools offer 46 currencies as unit labels; they do not convert currencies. For the workbook you need Excel or another XLSX-compatible application, and for the HTML file a modern desktop browser. Third-party application licenses are not included.
Delivery and getting started
Lemon Squeezy delivers access to the files after a confirmed order, on the order page and through a receipt sent to the purchase email address. There is no physical shipment. Unzip the ZIP and start with LEEME-README.txt. If you cannot find the receipt, check your spam folder.
The workbook and the quote builder work independently. Save the Excel file and export JSON copies from the quote builder: the browser's local storage can be cleared or blocked.
License use
You can use and modify the files for your personal activity or for the internal use of a business, including its team. You can deliver the quotes, proposals, and PDFs you produce to your clients without paying per document.
You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or publish the kit files for download. Other businesses that want to use the tools need their own license. The full text is in LICENCIA.txt. Custom services, ongoing support, and future versions are not included as a contractual commitment.
Help and refund requests
Reply to the purchase receipt or write to hola@margenclaro.com to contact MargenClaro. The receipt's reply-to address is configured so that we receive your inquiry. If you cannot find it, go to the Lemon Squeezy buyer help center linked below. For access or file problems, or a refund request, include the order number and describe the problem and the application you used. Do not send full card numbers or passwords.
Refund requests will be evaluated individually according to the case and applicable rights; they will be processed through Lemon Squeezy under its terms. Requesting one does not guarantee approval. If a purchase problem remains unresolved, you can go to the buyer help center.
Checkout is handled through Lemon Squeezy, the merchant of record for the transaction, and is subject to its buyer terms. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights.
